Retro gaming

I usually don't like the very old videogames, such as Diablo I.
However, when the story is worth the terrible technological level, I'm willing to do anything.

And so, I've spent HOURS trying to figure out how to run The Longest Journey on my laptop. Still haven't figured it out yet.

Longest Journey is the oldest game I want to play, though.
There are a couple of "younger" great games that can provide the great nostalgical feeling.

Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy in US)
Dreamfall: The longest journey.

I can honestly and proudly say those old games fill me with much more joy than anything made in last 2 years. Only thing that got close to it was the Alan Wake PC conversion. Just great.

And that only makes me look forward to playing its spin-off, the Alan Wake: American Nightmare, which came out on PC just a couple days ago.

And if you ever wondered who my favourite game maker is, I would definitely choose Ragnar Tornquist of Funcom. I hope he'll get to make the Dreamfall: Chapters soon.
